These terms apply to the Happenin website and app (the “Service”), which let people discover events and book tickets, let organisers list and run events, and let people organise group activities (“TeamUps”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
You can delete your account at any time in Profile, then Settings, then Delete Account.
Events on Happenin are listed and run by their organisers, not by Happenin. The organiser is responsible for the event itself and for its details: date, venue, lineup, entry rules and anything else on the listing.
We may remove a listing that is fake, misleading or breaks these terms.
A ticket is for the event, date and ticket type shown on it. Paid tickets are paid through our payment partner, Razorpay. If a payment fails, no ticket is issued.
Booked tickets are non-refundable. If money left your account but no ticket appeared in My Tickets, email us with the payment reference.
Some organisers ask attendees to verify their identity (Aadhaar and PAN) before booking. Provide your own, accurate documents; never use someone else’s.
You can pass a ticket to someone else with Assign in My Tickets. Transfers are between you and the other person: Happenin does not collect, hold or return any money for them. While a transfer is still pending you can cancel it; once the other person has the ticket, it is theirs.
TeamUps are organised by their hosts, not by Happenin. The team chat, announcements and messages to organisers are for planning and questions about the activity or event. Be respectful, and use your own judgement when you meet people you found through the Service.
You are responsible for what you post: event listings, TeamUps, reviews, photos, videos and messages. Only post content you have the right to share. You allow Happenin to show it in the Service so others can see it. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post or send:
Report anything that breaks these terms: use Report Event on an event page, the flag on a TeamUp page, or the … menu next to a chat message or review. Reports go to the Happenin team for review. We may remove the content and suspend or close the accounts responsible.
You can block a person from the same menus. You won’t see their chat messages, reviews or the TeamUps they host. Unblock them in Settings, under Blocked accounts.
If you list an event, you confirm you are allowed to hold it and to issue tickets for it, that the listing is accurate, and that you will honour the tickets booked through Happenin. Use attendee information, including any ID documents, only to run and admit people to your event, and keep it confidential.
We may update these terms. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email.
